Advanced driving courses

Advanced drivers gain more enjoyment from driving, have less accidents and if they pass an Advanced test they may receive lower insurance quotes.
Working from and using techniques from Roadcraft the police drivers handbook, we'll look at your driving in all areas such as:
Advanced observations and Planning, The system of car control, Acceleration sense, Overtaking procedures, Effective positioning, Appropriate gear selection, Steering, Cornering techniques and Bend assessment, Speed awareness, Braking techniques.

An advanced driving course would start with a short assessment of your driving followed by a short discussion to agree upon the areas for development. Following the assessment is an enjoyable period of driving development where your driving will be developed to the advanced standard. Many drivers who take this course then go on to pass an advanced driving test such as the ones offered by RoSPA and the Institute of Advanced Motorists. An Advanced training course can be taken in sessions of 2 hours or alternatively as half or full day sessions.

Advanced courses usually take place in the clients own vehicle, however a vehicle can be provided if required.
